How do you open the gas tank door of a Nissan Murano 2006?
I’m borrowing my sister’s car while mine is in the shop, and I can’t figure out how to open the gas door. Is there a magic trick to opening the fuel door of a 2006 Nissan Murano?

No matter what you’re driving, getting adjusted to a different vehicle can take some major patience! To open the gas tank door on aNissan Murano2006, justpress on the fuel door itself. Its spring hinge should pop the door right open so you can fill up your tank.
If this doesn’t work,make sure your Murano’s doors are unlocked! The fuel door won’t open if your car is locked. Some drivers have noticed thatallthe doors need to be unlocked in some cases, not just the driver’s door.
For every Murano model, you can use regular unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of at least 87. The 2006 model has a fuel tank capacity of 21.7 gallons, and when totally full, you could go up to 542 miles on a single tank of gas depending on where and how you’re driving.
